Bing (Yang Fire 丙)

The Day Master is the Heavenly Stem of your day pillar — the anchor for Ten Gods and strength analysis. Bing (丙) is Yang Fire, traditionally imaged as the sun: light that spreads without picking favorites. Classical texts use this stem to discuss radiance, generosity, and public presence as patterns, not as guarantees of fame or burnout. Within this system, finding your Day Master takes three steps: (1) generate your Four Pillars chart from birth date and time; (2) locate the day pillar — the third column, marked Day; (3) read its Heavenly Stem (top character). That stem is your Day Master. Unlike the year branch (shared by everyone born that year), the day stem is one of the chart's most individual anchors — though month and hour can still coincide with others. The sun image points to a pattern of outward warmth and visibility within this system. Tradition may suggest Bing Day Masters tend to energize rooms, share credit openly, and prefer matters to be seen rather than hidden. When the chart lacks Water or Earth moderation, the same radiance can read as overextension — giving until depleted, or feeling exposed when attention turns critical. The archetype is a lens for reflection, not a performance requirement.

Supported Yang Fire often reads as enthusiasm, moral clarity, and willingness to champion others. The friction side is consumption: being seen can become pressure to stay "on," and generosity without boundaries may lead to exhaustion or resentment when recognition is uneven.
