In the Year Pillar, it indicates ancestral calamity or weak health during childhood; in the Month Pillar, accidents and career instability during youth; in the Day Pillar, personal illness or poor health of one spouse; in the Hour Pillar, the need for health attention in old age or children's calamities. The Calamity Sha is most favorable when neutralized by the Heavenly Noble or Heavenly and Monthly Virtues, which can turn danger into safety. If the Calamity Sha appears with the Seven Killings, calamities are more severe; with the Hurting Officer, trouble arises from words and actions.
