Privacy Policy

When you use a reading feature, we process the question, birth date, time, location, and settings you choose to submit. Charts, birth profiles, and some history may be stored in localStorage in your current browser. If you email us, we also receive the address and message you choose to send. The current guest preview does not collect registration passwords or online payment details.

We use this information to calculate charts, generate and return readings, maintain the local experience, and troubleshoot the service. Funnel events contain only an event name and limited non-sensitive context; they exclude question text, birth details, and reading content.

We try to minimize unnecessary data movement, but no network transmission or AI processing can be guaranteed completely secure. Browser data is not separately encrypted by FateForge and may be accessible to anyone with access to the device and browser. The current preview does not promise encrypted database storage or recurring security audits. Do not submit passwords, identity numbers, payment details, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

The guest preview may use a necessary session cookie. The app also uses localStorage or sessionStorage for theme preferences, birth profiles, some history, usage counters, and temporary question prefill. Clearing browser data, using private browsing, or changing devices may remove this information. Google Analytics cookies are not currently used.

To complete a request, questions and birth details are sent to the FateForge backend and may be processed by the configured third-party AI provider. Provider retention and processing practices depend on its configuration and policies. Auth0 and Google OAuth may be used for authentication; the current product does not integrate Stripe payments or Google Analytics.

You can export or clear local data through available product tools or browser settings. For information sent to the backend or associated with an Auth0 account, contact [email protected] to ask whether it is retained and to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction where applicable law provides those rights.
